"Why bother?" I hear you ask. Killing a
single female fly can reduce the fly population in your area by 500 flies
a year.
The "bait" attracts several different
species of flies including house flies and blow flies. It is simply mixed
with warm water and is non toxic and pesticide free.
Flies look for food close to the ground so
set the trap 450mm or less from the ground.
Heat and light are important for the
activation of the attractant mixture so try to hang it in full sunlight.
This economical trap can be reset with
refill packs of attractant or they are cheap enough to throw away and
start again if you don't want to wash it out.
