With the Ti-Nite bits you will extend your
battery life because they require much less power to drill. The bits also
have special flutes to prevent clogging even without withdrawing from the
hole. The depth you can drill without clogging will be 6 - 8 times the
diameter of the bit. This means the standard 1/4" bit can drill up to 2"
deep in one go.
Use Ti-Nite bits in wood, plastics and metal
without the tip wandering when you first start the hole. The Titanium
Nitride coated bits last 4 to 6 times longer than uncoated bits.
At slightly twice the cost of a regular
drill bit for 4 - 6 times the use, the Ti-Nite bits are very affordable.
