 To make it
even more fun, make strings of edible ornaments.
Cook up a huge batch of popcorn and thread the pieces along some heavy
thread or some doubled-up regular thread using a large needle.
You
can do the same thing with candied fruit, Lifesavers, Fruit Tingles and any
other foodstuff solid enough to survive a needle. But be sure to have plenty
more of the "ornaments" than you plan to actually wind up on the tree
because pieces tend to "disappear" in the threading process.
If
you live in bird country, make a few extra edible wreaths to hang outside
and attract feathered friends to your backyard trees. |
