| If
you are going away for a few days it is easy to keep your important plants
watered. |
| Pierce
a small hole in the fattest part of a 2 litre soft drink bottle. Fill the
bottle with water and put the lid on. Lay the bottle on its side with the
hole facing down. During the day the sun heats the water which expands and
is forced out the hole. As the water cools it contracts and stops running.
This method will keep your plant watered for up to a week, depending on
the size of the hole. So start collecting drink bottles now. |
