Exhaust fans in the bathroom serve a very
important function as they remove odours and excessive moisture from the
house at their source. |
 The only problem with a bath fan is they don't
get used enough. Noisy fans often don't get used at all while their quieter
cousins often get turned off before the job is done. Most people turn the
fan off as they leave the room because they don't want to come back later
and turn it off. Removing all the moisture from the room after a hot shower
can take 15 or 20 minutes. Surely returning to turn it off is much easier
than trying to get rid of mould and mildew later, remember the saying
"prevention is better than cure". |
