The general rule is that
you need to change both the tube and the starter (a timed switch that allows
current to flow through the filaments at the end of the tube).
Turn off the light switch. Twist and pull
the tube out first, then the starter (these are usually fastened like a
bayonet light bulb).
Then slide and twist your new starter into
place first, followed by the tube.
Make sure you purchase the starter suited
to the required fluro tube. |
