now in force. |
| Lead sheet is still commonly
used as a flashing in construction and is specified as kilograms per
square metre, eg. one square metre of 15kg lead weighs 15 kilograms. Until recently, the use of 10kg and 15kg lead was common, but recent
changes to building codes specify that 20kg lead is now the minimum
acceptable weight to be used |
