Horizontal Drilling |
|
To ensure you are drilling on the level, place a
steel washer over the drill bit so that it can travel up and down the bit as
you are drilling. |
 If the washer
travels down the bit toward the work you need to drop the angle of your
drill.
If it travels toward the drill, you need to raise the angle of the drill.
If you wish to drill a true horizontal hole the washer should sit in the
middle of the bit. |
